About Us
A Network Built for the People Who Care for Animals
At Global Veterinary Excellence (GVE), we believe the best care for animals starts with the right support for the people who provide it.
That’s why we’ve built a growing network of veterinary clinics that share knowledge, resources, and clear clinical guidelines. Together, we maintain high standards and foster a positive work environment. We help teams make their work easier, better, and more enjoyable so they can focus on what truly matters: helping animals and working well together.
Our Mission
To deliver the best possible veterinary care by consistently advising and providing the highest quality clinical care, tailored to the unique needs of every individual animal and their owner.
Our Vision
To be the most connected veterinary group, where both people and animals are at the heart of everything we do. We value our colleagues and do everything we can to create a great place to work.
We’re Not Just Another Veterinary Group
What Makes Us Different
At GVE, we believe great care starts with people who feel good in their role. That’s why we’re building an environment where colleagues feel heard, supported, and appreciated. We invest in training, technology, and collaboration, and you’ll feel that in everything we do.
1. Quality Comes First
Our practices follow their own quality standards, a clear complaints procedure, and our veterinary health care plan, Healthy Pet Club, which makes preventive care more accessible. This ensures we consistently provide the best care for both pets and their owners.
2. Professional Growth
From extended CPD opportunities and personal support for new grads to intervision groups, leadership training, and quarterly check-ins: we help all team members continue growing. Together, we bring out the best in every individual.
3. Shared Decisions, Better Care
We make sure our teams have access to the right medications, equipment, and technology. Through our Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC), veterinary professionals have a direct voice in the decisions that shape their work.
4. Committed to the Profession and to Each Other
We’re actively engaged in the wider veterinary field: from participating in the Veterinary Sector Council to initiatives like “The Green Vet.” At the same time, we care deeply for our own people. We support teams through trusted contacts, team-building efforts, a Health & Safety dashboard, wellbeing ambassadors in each clinic, a Works Council, the Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC), and our Paraveterinary Advisory Committee.
5. Stronger Together
Unique to GVE is our Paraveterinary Advisory Committee: a platform where vet nurses can support, advise, and inspire one another and their clinics. In doing so, we’re not only improving care, but also building a stronger community within our practices.
